My name is Candace Blecha, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and owner of Double Heart Therapy.
I have always been drawn to people and their stories. Throughout my personal and professional life, I’ve found myself sitting one-on-one with others, listening deeply and holding space for what they’re carrying. Everyone has a history and experiences that shape who they are, and I believe we all deserve someone who is willing to truly listen. That belief is what led me into the field of therapy.
I followed my passion for being with others as they share their struggles, fears, and trauma. Along the way, I developed strengths in working with infants, children, families, and especially women and mothers. After becoming a mother myself, I experienced firsthand how little support exists for moms-to-be and new moms—and how isolating that can feel. I also came to understand that women need support at every stage of life, whether navigating motherhood, identity shifts, relationship changes, burnout, or major life transitions.
Double Heart Therapy was created to offer a space where women and mothers feel supported, understood, and not alone. I welcome you into my office in whatever emotional state you’re in, and I am honored to be with you as you share your story and move toward healing.
